A grid classifier is suitable for separating both sand and other high-density particles from wastewater or process water.

The Läckeby grid classifier has a high reliability, long life span and low energy consumption. The robust design ensures minimal maintenance.

How does a grid classifier work?

The water enters the grid classifier through a pipe. A laminar flow is created in the grid classifier, which allows the sand particles to settle easily. The sand particles are transported out of the grid classifier via a shaftless spiral screw. The water leaves the grid classifier at the top via an overflow. Läckeby grid classifiers are manufactured in normal or acid-proof stainless steel.
