What is a tankscrubber?
What is a laboratory gas scrubber?

A tank scrubber is a small gas scrubber for storage tanks. A laboratory scrubber is a small compact gas scrubber for laboratories and all applications for smaller emission flow rates, requiring to be treated. In short, a gas scrubber is a packed column, wherein the gas emissions to be treated are put into contact with a washing liquid (water with chemical additives) to separate harmful and/or odour components from the gas and absorb these components into the liquid. For smaller emission flow rates (odour control as well as air pollution control), such as for storage tanks and laboratory applications, a compact counterflow gas scrubber is used. This kind of compact scrubber has a small footfrint (less then one square meter of floor surface required), still offering enough capacity to treat smaller gas flow rates efficiently.

However, these compact gas scrubbers are still completely custom made and specifically adapted to the gas emissions offered. According to the (harmful) components present in the gas emissions, the compact scrubber can be made of SS, PP, HDPE, PVC, PVDF and even glass.

Tankscrubbers are used in following industries:

Laboratory scrubbers:

Smaller up to bigger laboratories using chemicals. After extraction out of the premises, the polluted air needs purification, before emission.

Just like the bigger version, these compact air scrubbers (cross- of counterflow) can be used to separate components such as:
