In the context of reducing odour nuisance from waste processing, Task BV was contacted by Tack Truck and Tankcleaning with the request to design an effective odour treatment plant. Tack was in need of a solution that met current environmental standards while guaranteeing a reliable long-term operation. <\/p>\n
Based on a thorough analysis of the airflows and the nature of the odour components, Task proposed an oxidative scrubber as the most suitable technology. This plant is specifically designed to oxidise odour components. This is done via a controlled chemical process using oxidants such as sodium hypochlorite (javel). <\/p>\n
The scrubber has a capacity of 30,000 m\u00b3\/h and is constructed of durable, chemical-resistant materials. The plant was equipped with an advanced control system that allows continuous monitoring of parameters such as pH, redox value and pressure drop. <\/p>\n
Task BV assumed full project responsibility: from preliminary design and dimensioning to engineering, production, installation and commissioning of the plant. In addition, we provided extensive training for the technical maintenance staff of Tack Truck and Tank Cleaning, in order to maximise the lifespan of the installation and guarantee operational reliability. <\/p>\n
This realisation fits within our broader expertise in air treatment for the waste treatment sector, in which we have already carried out several projects, including at major players such as Indaver. Thanks to our hands-on approach, in-depth technical knowledge and focus on sustainable solutions, we offer customers tailor-made solutions that meet their specific needs and comply with current environmental legislation. <\/p>\n
