Slaughterhouses can cause considerable odour nuisance for the environment, especially when processing animal products and waste streams. Effective odour treatment is therefore crucial, not only for the liveability of the surroundings, but also to comply with environmental legislation.  <\/p>\n<h2>Our solution<\/h2>\n<p>TASK designed and installed a gas scrubber specifically tailored to the nature of the odour components, including ammonia and organic compounds. The installation consists of: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A high-efficiency vertical scrubber<\/li>\n<li>Automatic dosing of chemicals<\/li>\n<li>Corrosion-resistant materials<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of pH and pressure drop for optimal operation and easy maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The result<\/h2>\n<p>Thanks to this installation, odour nuisance was drastically reduced and the slaughterhouse complies with current VLAREM emission standards.
