Ces substances &#8211; dont le zinc, le cuivre, le nickel, le chrome et parfois m\u00eame le cyanure &#8211; peuvent causer de graves dommages \u00e0 l&rsquo;environnement si elles ne sont pas \u00e9limin\u00e9es correctement. <\/p>\n<p>Les techniques de traitement physico-chimique offrent une solution efficace pour traiter ces flux d&rsquo;eaux us\u00e9es. Les m\u00e9taux dissous sont transform\u00e9s par des r\u00e9actions chimiques en compos\u00e9s insolubles, qui sont ensuite s\u00e9par\u00e9s physiquement de l&rsquo;eau. <\/p>\n<h2>\u00c9tude de cas : Mauquoy Token Company &#8211; Olen, Belgique<\/h2>\n<p>Pour Mauquoy Token Company, un producteur de pi\u00e8ces et de jetons m\u00e9talliques de haute qualit\u00e9 situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Olen, en Belgique, <span style=\"color: #3da5eb; font-weight: 800;\">TASK<\/span> a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une station d&rsquo;\u00e9puration physico-chimique sur mesure. Le d\u00e9fi de ce projet n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas seulement l&rsquo;\u00e9limination de divers m\u00e9taux lourds, mais aussi la d\u00e9gradation du cyanure, une substance hautement toxique qui appara\u00eet parfois en tr\u00e8s petites quantit\u00e9s dans le traitement de surface des m\u00e9taux. <\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;installation comporte plusieurs \u00e9tapes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Correction du pH pour cr\u00e9er des conditions optimales pour les r\u00e9actions de pr\u00e9cipitation.<\/li>\n<li>Coagulation et floculation dans lesquelles les m\u00e9taux sont transform\u00e9s en paillettes qui peuvent \u00eatre facilement d\u00e9cant\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<li>Oxydation du cyanure en dioxyde de carbone et en azote.<\/li>\n<li>S\u00e9dimentation et filtration \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un filtre-presse pour d\u00e9shydrater davantage les boues form\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>R\u00e9sultat <\/h2>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette installation, Mauquoy r\u00e9pond d\u00e9sormais aux normes strictes en mati\u00e8re de rejets.
