A fertiliser producer in the port of Antwerp recently installed the largest gas scrubbers in Belgium. These gas scrubbers could only be transported by ship, given the large diameter of the columns. The gas scrubbers ensure the removal of ammonia, among other things, and have a capacity of no less than 130,000 m³/h!
The design and engineering was carried out by Task Industrial Environmental Engineering. These air treatment plants are one of the largest in Belgium. Thanks to these gas scrubbers, the client now remains well below the emission limits imposed in Vlarem III.
