Water reuse for industry
The cost of water will only increase in the future. Companies have every interest in recovering and reusing company wastewater. The latest membrane technologies allow a substantial part of the current effluent (60 to 80%) to be reused in the production process. Obviously, this brings substantial savings: both on the drinking water purchase bill and in terms of discharge costs. Water treatment effluent can be upgraded to process water of various qualities, from drinking water quality to demineralized water. Thanks to our many years of experience, we can help almost any company with its needs.
Specifically, for each project, feasibility is checked beforehand on the basis of a recent water analysis. If necessary, a test installation is deployed. The final system is worked out completely custom-made for the customer. This in function of the type of wastewater, the intended quality for reuse and the economic aspects. These compact installations, whether containerized or not, are fully automated, equipped with a fully automatic CIP, with remote control and monitoring.

Circular water management
Water reuse can be done in several ways. On the one hand, gray water or process water can be reused as process water or for flushing toilets. Reusing heat and recovering energy
In just about every manufacturing plant, hot waste or process water streams circulate, often simply being discharged or going directly to the wastewater treatment plant. As a result, too much heat is still lost from liquid streams. With today’s skyrocketing energy costs, it is certainly an opportunity to recover this heat. With the Läckeby heat exchangers, heat can also be easily recovered from wastewater. These patented heat exchangers are very easy to maintain, virtually unaffected by blockages and this with minimal space requirements (modular and stackable system).
