Air-water heat exchanger
In a lot of industries, heat is generated as a by-product of the production process. With the Läckeby air-water heat exchanger, you make this excess heat or warm process air profitable.
Reusing heat is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly investment. We offer robust and modular heat exchangers with excellent value for money. Our heat exchangers are fully customized to your production process.
Energy reuse from warm air streams
Läckeby’s air-water heat exchanger was originally designed to protect membranes in water treatment plants and extend their life. The heat exchanger is designed to efficiently reduce the temperature of the air passing through the membranes. Over the years, the realization has grown that this unique product is also perfectly suited to recover heat from other air flows. Moreover, it is also well suited for heating ventilation air or low-pressure water circuits(learn more).

TASK is the exclusive Benelux distributor for the range of Lackeby products. Läckeby produces equipment for water treatment and heat recovery. These units are produced in Sweden.
How does an air-water heat exchanger work?
The compressed hot air circulates freely between a closed circuit consisting of a large number of copper tubes containing coolant. This allows a high amount of heat to be recovered from the incoming hot air stream.

Preheating hot water circuits
Our sludge-water and air-water heat exchangers are ideally suited for preheating water circuits. The pre-heated water can be used internally. For example, water treatment in laundries or other industries where large amounts of hot water are required.
Läckeby’s heat exchangers are very versatile, you can also use them as a cost-saving application for air conditioning or heating.
