Odour control
Companies are increasingly facing odour nuisance complaints. Odour control in case of odour nuisance is a must in our densely populated areas. We offer customized solutions for your proces.
A standard solution for industrial odour control does not exist. Reducing industrial odour emissions to zero is not straightforward. Fortunately, several economically and technically feasible solutions exist.
Task is an experienced partner in industrial odour control
In odour control, it is extremely important to choose a technically sound solution. Quickly installing a scrubber or filter – like using odour masking products – will rarely yield good results.
TASK is an experienced partner, always thoroughly studying the problem first, before offering you a solution that ensures efficient odour control. A solution tailored to your company, perfectly integrated into your production process.
TASK proves time and again that we take all constructions and placements very seriously by meeting the required standards and obtaining the necessary certificates. We are therefore the right partner for carrying out your installation.
How do we go about industrial odour control?
We proceed in a structured manner. The first step is a preliminary study, where the nature and source of the odour nuisance is investigated. Often it is not even immediately clear who, out of a group of companies in an industrial zone, is causing the odour nuisance. It is therefore important not only to find the cause, but also to measure and map the odour nuisance in an objective way. Neutral odour experts can be called upon for this purpose. There are several possibilities: sniff measurements, olfactometry and/or a chemical analysis (GC-MS).
We then suggest the appropriate odour control technology. A frequently used solution is the implementation of gas scrubbers for industrial emission treatment.
How do we work?
When you contact us for a problem with contaminated air, we will work with you to determine the nature of the contamination.
We take the necessary measurements and tests.
We propose a customized solution.
We install and commission the system.
We provide the necessary maintenance afterwards or train maintenance personnel on site.
If the source of pollution changes (e.g., due to changes in your production processes), we will optimize the air purification system as needed.
Test installation odour control
Given the complexity of odour control, in some cases it is appropriate to conduct tests with a test installation. During the test period, sampling and adjustments can be made if necessary. Such a pilot plant gives the customer as well as ourselves the guarantee to obtain the best results. At Task you can rent test installations, don’t hesitate to contact us!
Retrofitting of air purification and odour treatment systems?
We notice more and more the need for a complete retrofit and/or optimization of existing air purification and odour treatment installations. Customers who opted for a low-cost installation in the past sometimes find after years that the installation no longer functions properly. Usually this is because the production capacity increases and the original installation can no longer keep up.
When such a retrofit operation comes up, it is possible to preserve existing elements to the extent possible. In this way you will reduce costs and achieve the intended and required result.
