Grit classifier
A grit classifier is suitable for separating both sand and other settling particles from your waste or process water.
The Läckeby grit classifier has high reliability, long service life and low energy consumption. The robust design ensures that maintenance is kept to a minimum.
How does a grit classifier work?
Water enters the grit classifier through a tube below the water surface. A laminar flow is created in the grit classifier, allowing the sand particles to settle easily. The sand particles are transported out of the grit classifier via a shaftless spiral screw. The water leaves the grit classifier at the top via an overflow. Läckeby grit classifiers are produced in normal or acid-resistant stainless steel.
The trough at the bottom is equipped with metal wear bars or a plastic liner. As an additional option, wear-resistant liners are available for special applications such as highly abrasive materials in the mining or metal recycling industries.

TASK is the exclusive Benelux distributor for the range of Lackeby products. Läckeby produces equipment for water treatment and heat recovery. These units are produced in Sweden.
