The wastewater from individuals and businesses usually goes through a septic tank to the sewer system. Over time, the septic tank must be emptied by a specialized company. The sludge is processed in a water treatment plant of, for example, Aquafin.
Removing fiber from wastewater
Processing septic material requires proper preparation of the material. It is important to remove fibrous components from the septic material. These fibers are not desired in water treatment plants and sludge processing facilities.
The Lackeby receiving unit for septic material or septic recieving unit is suitable for separating fibers from septic material. This septic material receiving plant is very robust and user-friendly. Moreover, the plant is equipped with an internal feed, so it can easily handle high flow rates. When the sludge is supplied from tankers, high flow rates are briefly reached. This is not a problem for the septic recieving unit with internal feed. In addition, the unit is equipped with automatic flow control.
The plant is not only suitable for separating septic material but can also be used for screening by-pass or overflow water. The plants are very reliable, have a long service life and low energy consumption.
