Who is TASK?
TASK BV Industrial Environmental Techniques, Kerkhofstraat 33, 2220 Heist-op-den-Berg, Belgium, Member State of the European Union (EU), ON no TASK BE0461.006.851, further referred to as TASK. Our data protection policy is based on the regulations European data protection and privacy legislation, REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or “GDPR”).

How does TASK collect your personal data?
If TASK has basic personal data, it comes from the following channels:

  • You (or your colleagues) have contacted us directly, e.g. through our website or websites operated by third parties, where our contact details are listed to request information about our products and services.
  • You (possibly on behalf of your company) purchased a product or service directly from us
  • You (or your colleagues) have left your information on a trade show visit
    In case you provide information on behalf of a third party, please verify in advance that this third party has received this privacy policy. Please help us keep your information up to date by informing us of any changes to your contact details or preferences. Task promptly updates its data upon single request.

Responsibility for processing your personal data?
Task, as a “data controller,” is responsible for your personal data collected through the above-mentioned channels. Upon simple request, your contact information or preferences will be updated. This privacy policy further contains full details on the processing of your personal data. Description personal data collected by Task The following types of information are collected:

  • Contact information (Company name, surname and first name contact person, possibly company address, e-mail, phone/mobile number, fax …).
  • Additional personal information : none
  • Customer history (B2B information only, quotes, invoicing, project follow-up, maintenance, interventions)
  • Cookies from websites : basic data
  • Social media data: same processing as contact information

Purposes

What are the purposes and legal grounds for processing your personal data? The above contact information will only be used to inform you sporadically and specifically about new products/services of interest to you or to invite you to a trade show or event. Under no circumstances will the contact information listed above be shared with third parties, except in very specific cases and only with your express consent.

Transferring and sharing data

Contact information listed above is not shared with third parties except to comply with our legal obligations with the Belgian government in connection with a sale or purchase of goods or services.

How long do we keep your data?

Data will be kept only as long as necessary for the purpose for which we obtained it and for any other permitted related purposes (e.g. In connection with a sale, prepared quotation, aftercare, service). We limit access to your data to those persons who need to know about it for the purpose. Data used purely for advertising purposes will be deleted or modified upon simple request.

How do we protect your data?

We use a variety of security measures, including encryption and authentication tools, to help protect and maintain the security, integrity and availability of your data. We, along with our service providers, subcontractors and business partners, make every effort to maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your data in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

We use security measures such as:

  • strict access rules to your data on a “need to know” basis and only for the purposes specified;
  • transmission of collected data in encrypted/secure form;
  • firewalls in IT systems to prevent unauthorized access, e.g. from hackers, and permanently monitor access to IT systems to detect and stop misuse of personal data;

We take the protection of your privacy seriously. If you no longer wish to receive further mailings from us (max 1-2 times per year), you can easily unsubscribe via the “unsubscribe” mode at the bottom of each mailing message. You will then also be immediately removed from all files. We strive to keep our data up-to-date at all times.
