TASK made a major contribution to the modernisation of the heat recovery system at the Water Board Vechtstromen site in Hengelo (the Netherlands). The existing, outdated spiral heat exchangers were successfully replaced by compact and maintenance-friendly sludge-water tubular heat exchangers from Sweden’s Läckeby.
These new heat exchangers offer significant advantages in terms of space requirements, performance and ease of use. Thanks to their compact design, the installation takes up considerably less space, which is of great importance in technical rooms with limited space. In addition, they are designed for easy maintenance and maximum accessibility. Hinged covers at both ends of the heat exchanger allow inspections and cleaning to be carried out quickly and efficiently.
Läckeby sludge heat exchangers are specially designed for applications with highly polluted medium such as sludge and wastewater. They are robustly built, resistant to corrosion and clogging, and guarantee reliable heat transfer over their entire service life.
