CMK Europe manufactures electronic components and PCBs at its site in Olen, Belgium. Certain production processes release hydrochloric acid in the flue gases. CMK Europe therefore opted for 3 gas scrubbers of 4,000 m³/h each for hydrochloric acid removal. After this intervention, the emission limits for HCl were easily met.
Hydrochloric acid (HCl) is used in many industrial processes and can release harmful fumes when stored or processed. A scrubber for hydrochloric acid is the solution to capture and neutralise these corrosive vapours in a safe and environmentally friendly way.
Our scrubbers are designed to remove hydrogen chloride (HCl gas) from the air stream. In the scrubber, the contaminated air is passed through a washing liquid, where the gas is chemically bound and neutralised. The result: greatly reduced emissions and a clean, safe working environment.
Advantages of our gas scrubbers for hydrochloric acid:
- High efficiency
- Compact and modular design: easy to integrate into existing installations.
- Complies with environmental legislation: designed according to current VLAREM and emission standards.
Whether it concerns a storage tank, a filling station or a production process: at Task, you have come to the right place for a customised scrubber.
