Advantages of jet aeration system include high operational reliability: no moving part is in the aeration basin. Furthermore, all underwater materials are made of high-quality glass-fibre reinforced polyester. The support elements are made of stainless steel 316. This also keeps corrosion to a minimum.
Mixing during denitrification is done by dry-mounted centrifugal pumps, so there are no additional mixers in the aeration tank.
The lifetime of this system is several decades under normal conditions and this under continuous operation.
