Renewi is a leading waste treatment company with several sites in Belgium and the Netherlands. Waste is processed into valuable products, known in the circular economy as the ‘waste-to-product’ principle. Renewi’s water treatment plant was equipped with a jet aeration system.
Effective aeration
Jet aeration systems were successfully integrated in the wastewater treatment plants of several waste processors (Shanks-Renewi Ghent). This system has been operating smoothly for almost 20 years without expensive maintenance works and without emptying the basins. Maintenance of the pumps can be carried out without any problems as they are installed outside the basin.
