Westvlees, one of Belgium’s leading European producers of fresh and prepared pork, invested in a state-of-the-art water recovery plant last year. Every day, it upgrades 900,000 litres of wastewater into drinking water. This means that around 50% of total water consumption is recovered in the plant.
The Task-Aramis tandem, companies with a combined expertise of more than 45 years and hundreds of references, was called upon to design and implement this installation. The plant is equipped with the most advanced technologies and is remotely controllable and manageable.
From wastewater to drinking water
The plant is operated entirely by its own staff, offering the customer the greatest independence and minimising operating costs.
This realization puts one of the most important food producers in Belgium among Task-Aramis’ references. More info on water reuse can be found here.
